See if Telus can install sooner than Shaw can send a service tech. If so, let Shaw’s loyalty department know that is why you will be switching; I would suspect that someone will manage to make it out sooner.

We switched to Telus it’s just all around better. We got the 940Mbps plan.
I agree with the other comments, waiting three days for a mistake they made is not acceptable, speak with your wallet and go with someone else if possible, normally install techs can be at a new install fairly soon to hook up services, depending on area of course.
You could always call shaw first, let them know you are cancelling service, you will be transferred to loylty when you say you would like to cancel. And if loyalty can't get a truck out sooner then yeah more power to you man, you get that fucking internet back.
